The conflict perspective is a kind of social structure in which those who are relatively influential and powerful can predict what the social pathway should be coursed upon. Basically, it is about the establishment of stratified groupings in a society which can maintain a polarized influence to encompass all other sub-groups or individuals in a social structure.

On the aspect of addressing the American schooling dilemmas, a conflict approach may be used. Of course, it may seem that the procedure could become a form of tyrannical approach but actually, a single unit of power assigned to smaller groups of decision makers can benefit the schooling system and create profound improvements.

As an example, those who are in the department of education can be provided with larger extensions of power by raising their budget allowances. Primarily, any type of system change in the society, especially in the education sector, needs to have financial resources. For this reason, the department of education will need to establish solid money resources to implement change. With money, additional budget can be allocated to educational materials and facilities such as building additional public schools and the purchase of quality books and references.

Also, programs to attract students to become more eager in studying can be formulated with a single powerful education department. The directives of the administration can be easily implemented which will directly benefit the students.

One more possible policy which can use the philosophy of conflict is by increasing the capability of teachers to impart disciplinary arrangements with students. This can somehow project the seriousness of the education sector to inhibit change for the society’s knowledge structure by stabilizing the characters of the individuals.
