?Hitler’s idea was called Anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism is where Hitler thought that the Germans were a master race and that the Jews were the enemy. The holocaust was the genocide of millions of Jews in Germany. Genocide is the deliberate demolition of an entire race. Hitler removed the Jews of Germany and put them into concentration or extermination camps. A concentration camp is where Jews were kept. Extermination camps were where Jews were put into fake shower units (gas chambers) and burned.

The concentration camps were was the Jews were kept. The first camp was at Dachau near Munich, others were at Sachsenhausen, Buchenwald and Bergen-Belsen. Conditions were extremely poor at the camps. They had to wear a yellow star of David. Jews were moved from concentration camps into extermination camps such as Auschwitz, Majdanek and Treblinka. They were put into fake shower units and burned with the Zyklon B gas. More than 1 million people died at Auschwitz alone.

Hitler used propaganda to make the Jews look bad.
