The Malaysia Law is mainly based on the common law legal system. Law protects basic individual rights and freedom such as liberty, equality and freedom of speech. It prevents individuals in powerful position from taking an unfair advantage of other people. Law ensures a safe and peaceful society, in which individual rights are preserved. Certain governments have cruel laws, where police and armies arrests and punishes people without a trial in the court. Law applies to every persons, public authorities, governmental departments, private bodies, profit making organizations as well as non-governmental organizations.
The government and law should act in the interest of society and these bodies should not stand distinctively from the society in order to maintain peace and balance of power between people and government. First of all, justice is an abstract idea of right or wrong, fairness and equality. Also, justice can be defined as the quality of being righteousness, equitableness or moral rightness. Many intractable conflicts are fought over the concept of “justice,” but defining exactly what that concept means is very difficult.
Sometimes “justice” is defined in terms of equality, everyone should get or have the same amount, regardless of how hard they work, or “what they put in. ” Other people define “justice” in terms of equity, people should get benefits in proportion to what they contributed to producing those benefits. In other words, the harder and better you work, the more you should get as a reward for that work. In the worldwide new, there have about 27 million people have stories of human trafficking just like the ones you are about to read.
Women, men and children are recruited, compelled into labor or commercial sex, held against their will, scared to leave, and unaware of their rights. They live and work in our very own communities. They produce the goods and services that we use every day. In our homes, workplaces and stores, they are invisible right in front of U. S, until you learn to spot and stop human trafficking. But, the Global Freedom Center is working to ensure that the people most likely to identify or prevent human trafficking have the knowledge and strategies they need to make a difference.
We are shrinking the gap between the 27 million enslaved and less than 1% identified. People have to know their scope of rights and freedom granted to them and must be able to demand for their rights whenever injustice takes place. Second, morality can be defined as the principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behaviour. There are a number of issues about the relationship between morality and law in a democracy like the United States.
Among them are whether legislation should reflect moral principles, whether judges should interpret laws in light of moral values and principles, whether laws should enforce morality, whether laws are binding if they do not reflect moral principles, whether it is moral or not to disobey bad laws, and what gives law its authority. There have many case of unplanned pregnancy. For example, you’re in the middle of college, and you’re pregnant. Or you’re in the military. Or you are the victim of rape. Or the pregnancy was from a just-broken relationship.
There are dozens of reasons a woman may find herself contemplating what to do about an unplanned pregnancy. And with any pregnancy, there are three choices: parenting the baby, placing it for adoption, or abortion. In the moral value, the first thing to remember is that it may not be so bad to have an unexpected baby. There are some government programs in place to help women who find themselves unwed mothers. Also your family and significant other may not be so unhappy about your unplanned pregnancy as you expect them to be.
Be honest with everyone around you, and accept with gratitude any help they offer. Also, to remember is that the choice about what to do with an unplanned pregnancy is, by law, yours. The government cannot pay for an abortion, but it is your right to have one if you want one, at least within the first three months of your pregnancy. There are hundreds of thousands of loving homes that would be happy to take your unplanned baby as an adoptee. Freedom of speech is the political right to communicate one’s opinions and ideas using one’s body and property to anyone who is willing to receive them.
The term freedom of expression is sometimes used synonymously, but includes any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used. The situation is Emalee also said she could address the matter as she had been present during the incident at the December 8 forum held at University Utara Malaysia (UUM), which was captured in a 20 minute video clip that recently sparked an online storm. “I ask her to go somewhere safe because she has children. Someone try to blackmail her, this issue has become quite serious,” she later said.
Some amendments should be done to the Article 10 of the Constitution of Malaysia regarding various factors. Today world is stress about human right and freedom to speak out their opinions. Actually this is good as politic parties either currently ruling the company or not can listen to “rakyat” voices. In the past, the issues about 3 main races consists of Malay Chinese and Indian are considered as a sensitive issues especially after the 13 May 1969 Incident races riot between Malay and Chinese. That is the reason why Article 10 play importance roles to make sure peaceful and harmony life among races in our country.
However, the situation now is getting different compare to before.. We can get access to the news include politician news all over the world by merely clicks and scroll up and down. Because of those reasons, some appropriate amendments have to be done to the existing Article 10 so that it can fulfill the expectation of our national citizens My suggestion here is we should be allowable to assemble without distracting public order and relevant authorities should be informed only to give any assistance to rule the assembly so that the assembly could be organized in peaceful condition.
Besides, citizens who above 18 years old regardless students or not should be allowed to speak out their opinion about politic issues and join politic assembles. Corruption is an act done with the intention to give some advantage inconsistent with official duty and the rights of others. It includes bribery, but is more comprehensive, because an act may be corruptly done, though the advantage to be derived from it be not offered by another. KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 — Malaysians perceived the police to be the most
corrupt, topping political parties, civil servants, the private business sector and the judiciary, according to the 2010 Global Corruption Barometer (GCB) results released today. Datuk Paul Low said that in terms of petty corruption cases, the percentage had gone down. It is the perception on grand corruption that has increased. This situation show clearly the unfair corruption happened in Malaysia. Although corruption is disallowed under the Malaysia law, there are still some people are conducting corruption in private.
This situation is very unfair to other because corruption can make other to receive some advantages or benefits. The corruption mostly is occurring when carry on a trading. This unfair situation has been stretch to different types of society, especially the police. Police nowadays accept the bribery from the citizens. Seeing as our country’s corruption is increasing seriously from year to year, we need to come up with some solutions to fight the corruption. The fight against corruption involves the defense and strengthening of ethical values in all societies.
Furthermore, in order to make this unfair situation to become a fair situation that can be accepted by all of citizens, our government must expel irresponsible officers. Other ways to prevent or minimize the corruption include warning irresponsible officers about how corruption can threaten both their personal and work lives or even deducting from their monthly salary so as to enforce the severity of the consequences that may partake if they are caught to be involved in corruption. Formal process by which voters make their political choices on public issues or candidates for public office.
The use of elections in the modern era dates back to the emergence of representative government in Europe and North America since the 17th century. Regular elections serve to hold leaders accountable for their performance and permit an exchange of influence between the governors and the governed. The availability of alternatives is a necessary condition. Votes may be secret or public. Malaysians choose representatives for two levels of governance – Members of Parliament (MPs) at the federal level and state assembly persons in the state legislative assemblies.
Under the constitution, the maximum term of the Dewan Rakyat is five years, after which it is automatically dissolved and elections are held. Usually, the Dewan Rakyat is dissolved before its five-year term is complete. According on my researched, the opposition was not given any media coverage time on the local television to promote their campaign and ideology this situation is bias towards the favour of the government party. All parties must have equal coverage time in the local area to promote their campaign.
Furthermore, the use of indelible-ink should be changed to something else that is more reliable. The ink that is used by the election commission is not as indelible as they claim it to be because it can be easily removed. The government can adopt other methods of recording/marking voters; for example, using computer to record their identification card number. Also, it has come to my attention that the financing of political parties is not transparent, resulting in a big lack of clarity about the financial standing of the competing parties.
I suggest that the concern the appointment of election observers, improving the electoral roll, improving political party registration process and political financing. ———————– People have to know their scope of rights andfreedom granted to them by government and mustbe able to demand for their rights wheneverinjustice takes place.
