Many companies these days have their own page where they will offer a lot of freebies and let you take part in promotions just for following them or pressing the “Like” button on their brand page.

In India, Fastrack from Titan is the best example of a company that’s hugely benefited by embracing social media. Fastrack was initially launched as a sub brand of Titan targeting the youth way back in 1998. In 2005, it became an independent brand under Titan and has been steadily gaining popularity ever since. With the onset of industrial revolution, with machines contributing to the industry’s success, the managers find less scope for innovation. The business society now mechanically creates money-making machines without emotion or a personal life and labels them as ‘entrepreneurs. ’ Their only aim is to maximize their profit. To quote Oscar Wilde, “They only know the price, not the value. ” As long as we continue with this narrow minded outlook, there is a very little scope for creativity.
