The USA shares its borders with Canada and Mexico. The security of these borders has been a long waged issue among the rulers of the country. But at present too crossing of these borders illegally continues. As is evident from the recent past and present, the Government has issued some laws to curb ‘Illegal Immigration’ . The recent ones being that an illegal immigrant being deported back to his home country within 24 hours. Jobs are also not to be provided to people who are in the country without proper immigration documents.
As for the Democrats, these illegal immigrants seem as a way to boost their vote bank. Illegal immigrants having Spanish as their mother tongue or Hispanics are favored strongly towards the Democrats. While on the other hand, the Republicans are funded in their campaigns by the highly rich and famous of the construction company. These immigrants form a major chunk of workers on these construction sites. The Republicans too like the Democrats being rather selfish, as most politicians are, look through the issue of illegal immigration.
So the Republicans as well as the Democrats are not looking eager to get to the bottom of this situation. For the citizens of the USA, they are seen as aliens who are eating into their jobs besides being seen as a source of crime and terror. Many of the eligible US citizens are jobless. So the Republicans and Democrats should look at the nearly double votes of the US citizens. They should not spoil the problem within the country rather they should work out this problem. Otherwise it will threaten the US economy.
Jobs are aplenty and immigrants who are mostly ignorant of their civil rights in an alien country are seen as easy bait. This fulfills the desires of wealthy administrator but it is the interests of the citizens of the country which takes a beating. It is an issue which needs to be addressed to cut back rising unemployment and crime in USA.
