Steven Paul Jobs

Before I start, think about a world with out iPhones. Because without Steve Jobs we wouldn’t have them. Steve Jobs was the inventor of Apple Inc. as many people already know. He had many accomplishments in his lifetime. I will be telling you them in the next few paragraphs. Steve also faced many troubles in his childhood including school and his biological parents and his adoption parents. But he became very successful facing all of his problem and fears.

Steve’s life had many challenges, but he faced every single one of them. Santa Clara County was a growing place for computers. After the Soviet Union launched the Sputnik in 1957, the country engaged billions of dollars to technology companies. So, as Steve grew up in Los Altos he became more interested in electronics. When Steve went to high school he enrolled in a electronics class. He also had a summer job at HP. Steve and his friend Woz managed to build “ blue boxes “ Which allowed you to make calls for free. Steve got a job at Atari, which was a clear inspiration to start Apple.

Here is when his career all started. While Steve was working at Atari in India, Hewlett Packard hired his friend Woz. Woz showed his computer design to Steve, Steve was very impressed. Woz and Steve needed $1,000 to start building the first boards. Steve sold his Volkswagen van and Woz sold his HP 65 calculator. Apple computer’s first order was from a homebrew named Paul Terrell. Paul was starting a computer store called “ Byte Shop “. He ordered 50 computers for $500.00 a piece. The parts for the Apple were $220.00 but the computer was sold for $500.00. Mike a former Intel worker drew up a business plan for $250,000.00 to build 1,00 machines. Mike also insisted that Apple advertised the new invention.

As most people already know Steve Jobs invented the iPhone. He also invented many other helpful electronics. Like the iMac for searching the Internet doing projects and much much more. The iPod(s) for listening to music, watching a movie, or just playing a game. The iPad but, Steves had some help from his developers’ for that one. The MacBook’s and a lot more to come. In many ways Steve has made all of our lives easier in many ways.

In conclusion, Steve was a very smart man and all of his inventions continue to help us all everyday. Unfortunately Steve dies form cancer on October 5, 2011. Overall though I feel Steve Jobs was a pretty amazing man. Apple will continue to come out with more this that will surprise us all. I also feel that Steve will continue to inspire many other inventors. No matter how hard life gets just keep your head up! We have an environment where excellence is really expected.

“What’s really great is to be open when [the work] is not great. My best contribution is not settling for anything but really good stuff, in all the details. That’s my job — to make sure everything is great.” – Steve Jobs
